How can I help?
Volunteer
NEST welcomes volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life. There are opportunities to help in a wide variety of ways. For the rest of this year we can use help in organizing NEST and serving on the Board committees. Once we launch and have members we can use help in providing a variety of volunteer services to members. We are interested in hearing from you. Volunteer Sign-up and Form
Spread the word
You can help spread the word about NEST by hosting a neighborhood gathering, providing an opportunity for NEST to speak at your local church or service group, posting flyers announcing the community meetings in your local favorite store or place of work in the Northeast Seattle area. Talk with friends and spread the word that NEST is growing.
Contact your neighborhood liaison to let them know you would like to help. Or if we don’t have a liaison in your area, contact us if you are interested in volunteering for this role in your neighborhood.

“As an estate planning and elder law attorney, NEST offers my clients valuable connections to their neighbors and the neighborhood. Particularly as my clients age and seek to stay in their homes, they benefit from the interaction with a supportive community. NEST is the wave of the future and North East Seattle residents are lucky to be on the cutting edge of this new and important form of interdependent communication.”
