About this event
The Dealing with Dementia Caregiver Workshop is back for the 4th year in a row at NEST! This workshop is specially designed for family caregivers of those living with Alzheimer’s or dementia. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of dementia and learn best-prectice strategies to manage challenging behaviors, reduce stress, and create time for themselves. Each attendee will also receive a free copy of the Dealing with Dementia Guide—a comprehensive 300+ page resource filled with practical tips and solutions to the everyday challenges caregivers face. If you are a caregiver, or know someone caring for a loved one with dementia, this workshop is a valuable opportunity for support, learning, and connection.
This workshop is taught by Carol Redfield, DNP, MN, RN, an Adjunct Professor at Seattle Pacific University. With over 40 years of experience in oncology, nursing education, and gerontology, Carol brings both expertise and compassion to supporting those who care for aging loved ones.
